  • 100 ml warm water
  • 5 g dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons dry oregano
  • 50 g grated cheese
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and yeast in a large mixing bowl, stirring well.
  1. Pour in the warm water, olive oil, oregano, and grated cheese, then knead the dough until soft and elastic.
  1. Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  1. Roll out the dough thinly and cut it into long strips, twisting each strip gently.
  1. Brush the shaped grissini with olive oil and sprinkle extra oregano on top, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15–20 minutes.

Notes
