Ingredients
  

  • 225 g cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unit egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • q.s. vegetable oil for frying
  • 12 unit Oreo cookies

Method
 

  1. Beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  1. Fold in the crushed graham crackers and chill the filling for 10 minutes.
  1. Assemble Oreo sandwiches by placing cheesecake filling between two Oreo cookies.
  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in one bowl; whisk egg and milk in another.
  1. Set up the battering station: dip Oreo sandwiches in dry mixture, liquid mixture, and then back into dry.
  1. Heat vegetable oil to 175°C (350°F) and fry the coated sandwiches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  1. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
